Timeline Example - Finding Nemo

Frustrated by his father's strict rules, Nemo swims into the open ocean and is captured by a scuba-diving dentist.

Nemo makes friends with his tank mates who begin to plan an escape from the dentist's niece - a fish killer!

Nemo plays dead and escapes the dentist's office through the pipes after being flushed down the toilet.

Reef is attacked by a barracuda and Nemo's mother and siblings are killed, and Nemo's fin is damaged.

With the help of Nigel the pelican, Nemo's tank mates make it to the ocean.

After the barracuda attack, Marlin is very protective over Nemo but finally let's him attend school.

Marlin leaves the reef in search of Nemo and meets Dory.

After getting stung by jellyfish, Dory and Nemo are rescued by sea turtles who get them into the Eastern Australian Current toward Sydney.

Dory helps Nemo navigate through the pipes to be reunited with Marlin.


Nemo and Marlin work together to help Dory escape from the fishing net.
